Designed with safer defaults
- No child accounts, public profiles, chat, uploads, or messaging.
- No targeted advertising or sale of personal information.
- No request for a child’s name, email, school, birthday, or location.
- Story progress and game scores remain on the device.
- Only aggregated, cookie-free website analytics are enabled.
Regional commitments
United States
We design the service to avoid collecting personal information from children under 13. Before adding a feature that does so, we would apply COPPA notice, parental choice, deletion, security, and verifiable parental-consent requirements.
European Union and United Kingdom
We use data minimisation, clear explanations, and high-privacy defaults consistent with children’s GDPR protections and the UK Children’s Code. Consent ages vary across European countries, so we do not rely on a child’s consent for the current experience.
Australia and New Zealand
Our approach reflects the Australian Privacy Principles, Australia’s developing Children’s Online Privacy Code, and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020 principles: collect only what is necessary, explain its use, secure it, and support access, correction, and deletion where relevant.
Middle East
We apply privacy-by-default globally and avoid targeted advertising to children. This supports requirements such as guardian involvement for children’s personal data under applicable UAE and Saudi privacy rules. Families elsewhere in the region retain any mandatory local rights.
