Adventures of Boba is designed for children and families with privacy as the default. We do not offer accounts, advertising, chat, uploads, or forms for children.

The short version
Children can read stories and play the game without telling us their name, email address, school, birthday, precise location, or anything else about who they are. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Who operates this service
Adventures of Boba is the operator and data controller for this website. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@bobathetiger.com. A parent or guardian should contact us for a child.
Information used when you visit
- Anonymous website analytics: page path, referring site, filtered query parameters, approximate region, browser, operating system, device type, and visit time. Vercel Web Analytics aggregates this information without third-party cookies or a persistent identifier.
- Technical delivery and security data: our hosting provider may process request information such as an IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and secure the service.
- On-device preferences: reading position, cached image references, and game high scores are stored only in the browser’s local storage. They are not sent to Adventures of Boba.
Why we use this information
We use the minimum information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service. Where applicable, processing is based on our legitimate interests in providing a safe and reliable service, performance of the service requested by the visitor, compliance with law, or consent where law specifically requires it.
Children’s information
The service is intended for families, including children under 13, but it is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. If we learn that a child supplied personal information, we will delete it. We will introduce parental notice and verifiable consent before launching any feature that requires a child’s personal information.
Service providers and international processing
Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-focused analytics. It processes limited data on our behalf and may do so in countries other than the visitor’s country. We do not authorize providers to use children’s data for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
Retention and security
Browser storage remains until it is cleared by the user or the site. Vercel’s analytics visitor hash resets after 24 hours; aggregated reports and essential security logs are retained according to the service settings and provider terms. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on location, a visitor or their parent may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a local privacy regulator. California residents may also request information about collection, deletion, and correction and may opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Regional protections
We apply data minimisation and high-privacy defaults globally. This notice is intended to support COPPA and applicable US state laws, GDPR and UK GDPR safeguards for children, Australia’s Privacy Act and developing Children’s Online Privacy Code, New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020, and applicable Middle East privacy laws including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Local mandatory rights continue to apply.
